About This Sermon

As Jesus traveled throughout the cities and villages of Galilee, His ministry took on such an unexpected character that many were confused about the meaning and purpose of His identity and message. At the beginning of Matthew 11, even John the Baptist himself is confused enough that he asks Jesus to clarify a particularly troubling aspect of His identity for him. Why would John the Baptist be confused about Jesus, and what does it tell us about who Jesus is and how we must approach Him? Ryan explains in the second part of a two-part message from Matthew 11:1-19 called "An Enigmatic Messiah."
