About This Sermon
When faced with suffering it's not uncommon for the Christian to ask the question, "Why?" Why would a wise and loving God allow His children to experience such incredible hardship? Suffering hurts, and yet James begins his letter by telling his readers, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds." How can he say this? Can suffering really be something that we are grateful for? Ryan explains in the following message from James 1:2-4 entitled "Faith in the Fire."
