There are few sins in Scripture as serious as the sin of adultery. It's listed right after murder in the second table of the Ten Commandments. Under the Mosaic Law, it was punishable by death. It's also a sin that we ourselves commit against God on, essentially, a daily basis - only on a spiritual level. What are the causes and consequences of this kind of sin?
