About This Sermon
Thanksgiving is a day that Americans set aside to thank God for His blessings on our country. It is also a time of national repentance - a time for Americans to reflect upon their own short-comings as a nation and pray for God's grace as they seek to turn from their sins. With this in mind, Cornerstone will typically set aside the Sunday before Thanksgiving to both pray for our country and to reflect upon what it looks like to live as Christians in this society and under this system of government. As a part of that observance, Ryan delivers a message from 1 Peter 3:8-12 entitled "The Power of Meekness."
