About This Sermon
Who is worthy to enter into the kingdom of heaven? Is the kingdom open to everyone, or is it open only to a select few with an inside track to God? In Matthew 8:5-13 a centurion - a man who, according to the popular theology in Israel in his day, really should have been among the last of all people to expect to enter into the kingdom - comes to Jesus seeking help. In the events that follow Jesus radically challenges the existing notions of what God demands of those who will enter into His kingdom. Ryan explains.
