About This Sermon
The most important question that anyone can ask themselves is, “How do I get to heaven when I die?” Most believe that the way to heaven is by being a good person, but how good must a person be to get to heaven? In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus begins to articulate how righteous a person must be to go to heaven in six explanations of the Old Testament law. In the first explanation of the law Jesus proclaims: “You must never get angry.” Why is even one instance of sinful anger condemnable to eternity in Hell? And how is possible for anyone at all to go to heaven under such an impossible standard? Ryan explains in the second part of this four part message from Matthew 5:21-26.
