About This Sermon
Baptism is a declaration of many things, but if all the things it represents were distilled into one, simple concept, then it may said that baptism is a symbolic declaration of a new believer’s identification with Christ. At baptism, a person declares that they have newly become a disciple of Jesus Christ and now identify completely with Him. What does this identification look like as it is played out in the life of the believer? Ryan provides the answer to that question as he explains the cost of discipleship from Matthew 16:24-26.
